- Asian Handicap
- A handicap betting system that removes the draw option and gives a goal advantage or disadvantage to each team, expressed in whole or half increments.
- Bankroll Management
- The method of deciding how much money to set aside for betting and how to size each wager to protect funds over time.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine several different markets from one match into a single bet, with odds adjusted for the combined selections.
- Betting Line
- The set of odds or point spread a bookmaker offers for a specific event.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match, such as win/draw or draw/win, in one wager.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage a bettor thinks they have over the bookmaker's odds.
- Expected Goals (xG)
- A statistic that estimates how many goals a team or player is likely to score based on the quality of the chances they create.
- Flat Betting
- A staking plan where the same amount of money is wagered on every bet, no matter the confidence level.
- Handicapping
- The process of analyzing teams and match conditions to assign a perceived advantage or disadvantage for betting purposes.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is ongoing, with odds that change as the game progresses.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula used to calculate the optimal fraction of your bankroll to wager based on the size of your edge.
- Lay Betting
- Betting that a certain outcome will not occur, essentially acting as the bookmaker by offering odds to other bettors.
- Margin
- The bookmaker's built-in profit margin, usually shown as a percentage, which is built into the odds they offer.
- Moneyline
- A straightforward bet on which team will win a match, with no point spread or handicap involved.
- Odds Comparison

- Over/Under

- Parlay

- Surebet (Arbitrage)
- A situation where differing odds across bookmakers allow you to bet on all possible outcomes and guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, indicating an expected positive return over time.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is cancelled and the stake refunded, usually because the event was postponed or a rule was broken.
